These Terms of Use ('Terms') govern your use of the Fourthie application ('Application', 'Platform', 'Service'). By using the application, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Fourthie is a social platform that allows users to create, discover, and join events. The platform only provides intermediary services and is not responsible for the realization of the events.

2. User Obligations

2.1 Age and Eligibility

  • You must be over 18 years old
  • You must be eligible according to the laws of the Republic of Turkey
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information

2.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for keeping your account information confidential
  • You are responsible for unauthorized use of your account
  • You must report suspicious activities immediately

3. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following content and behavior are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Illegal Content

  • Content promoting drug, alcohol, and illegal substance use
  • Organization of terrorism, violence, and illegal activities
  • Events constituting fraud and financial crimes
  • Gambling and betting organizations

3.2 Inappropriate Content

  • Pornographic, sexual, or obscene content
  • Hate speech, racism, discrimination
  • Harassment, bullying, and threatening content
  • Fake news and deception

3.3 Platform Abuse

  • Use of spam, bots, or automated systems
  • Creating fake accounts
  • Activities threatening system security
  • Unauthorized collection of personal data

4. Content Moderation and AI Audit

  • All user content is automatically scanned by artificial intelligence systems
  • Accounts detected with inappropriate content may be automatically suspended
  • Manual review is performed by human moderators
  • Permanent account closure is applied for repeated violations
  • Notifications are made to authorized authorities when a legal violation is detected

5. Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Fourthie's Liability

Fourthie is only a platform provider and IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for the following:

  • User Safety: Accidents, injuries, theft, or any damage that may occur in events
  • User Behavior: Behaviors, words, or actions of other users
  • Event Quality: Cancellation, poor quality, or failure to meet expectations of events
  • Financial Losses: Expenses, losses, or financial damages related to events
  • Personal Belongings: Items lost, stolen, or damaged in events
  • Legal Issues: Legal disputes that may arise between users
  • Third Party Services: Problems arising from maps, payments, and other integrated services

By using the platform, you declare that you accept all risks and hold Fourthie harmless from any damages.

6. Legal Compliance and Cooperation

Fourthie cooperates fully with legal authorities:

  • User information is shared upon request of law enforcement agencies
  • Court orders and prosecutor investigations are supported
  • Criminal content is automatically reported
  • IP addresses and log records are kept for the legal retention period
  • The platform cannot be used for illegal purposes

7. Payment and Refund Policy

  • Event creation fee refund is only made in technical failures
  • The fee is automatically refunded when the event is cancelled
  • No refund is made in case of user violation
  • Payment disputes are resolved within 14 days
  • All payments are securely processed via Stripe

8. Account Suspension and Closure

8.1 Automatic Suspension

  • When inappropriate content is detected by AI systems
  • When multiple user complaints are received
  • When a system security breach is detected

8.2 Permanent Closure

  • Repeated rule violations
  • Sharing content constituting a legal crime
  • Threatening or harassing other users
  • Endangering platform security

9. Governing Law

  • These terms are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey
  • Disputes are resolved in Istanbul courts
  • KVKK and Law No. 5651 on the Internet provisions apply
  • Consumer rights are protected under the Electronic Commerce Law
